What a great way to be. Our first birth took about an hour and a half and was a very touching process for my wife and I. We felt very close to each other. On another note, the woman (read:girl) that was beside us in the room after (semi-private room with two beds) made me a little sad. Single mom, not her first kid, kind of trashy from what we could tell. Talking to her 17 year old sister (who had a kid) about not breast feeding because then she couldn't drink.
