Glad you made it home safe - we've had a few knuckle biters recently too. On the way to Milwaukee (hey, don't beat yourself up, Pasadena is ok too) for Christmas, there was about 20 cars in the ditch including at least 5 Semis buried up to the cab windows in snow. Couldn't tell you the number of times I felt all wheels lose traction and we had quattro and Nokian RSis. Once coming around a bend the car suddenly just kept going straight. I let off the gas, no brake, gently turned the wheel just a bit and gave just a stitch of throttle.
