True. We're only human (most of us) and there are only 32 hours in a day. This is not directed at you but I see far too many people/groups who are willing to ignore some major issues in the American Muslim world for one reason or another while focusing on related issues in other places. Where is the National Organization for Women (NOW) when dealing with womens rights under Islam? When I do a fast search on "National Organization for Women" and Islam I get this: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/462461/stand_up_now_the_national_organization.html
Yes, we only have so much bandwidth, but these groups have lots of it when it comes to everywhere other than womens rights in Islam. You do the work of 3 people in general so why can't they do the work of one on this specific topic. Oh, and for the Bush lovers here, The only time NOW had anything to say about womens rights in Iraq was AFTER we invaded. Till then they had no statment and after we went in they just had more to bash Bush about.
