The intent I believe though was always for it to lead into a series. They sure didn't waste any time though rolling out the next incarnation. And of course the new Trek movie as well. They definitely were pimping everything possible to the sci-fi crowd. I'd really love to see that X-men movie, looks like it is going to be pretty awesome. I just don't have any friends (local at least) that have the least bit of interest in anything in the sci-fi/superheroish genre.
