Ron Paul hasn't run as a Libertarian in 29 years.  Having said that, the
whole point of the Libertarian Party is that they are the "party of
principle."  It theoretically shouldn't matter who they run as all of the
candidates would act the same way in the same situation.  Reality is
somewhat different, however.  The fact is that most people do not agree with
their platform, so no matter who is talking their talk, they won't get
elected in any "major" campaign.
