Which "scriptures"?  Pre-canon or post?

If post, please defend the council's right to the exclusions, why you
feel they made the right choice, and, of course, the translations.
Also please explain the multiple sourcings (e.g., j-text vs y-text)

For example, maybe defend the rejection of the apocrypha and the
Gnostic Gospels.
