Totally disagree - the franchise's *whole premise* is about robots! The
technology and such has finally caught up to the story so they can tell it
without it being cheesy-looking. So much emphasis put on what the future
holds in the past three movies, now we actually get to *see* what the big
deal was about.
Terminator 1 - good flick for the time period. scared the bejeesus outta me
as a kid

Terminator 2 - best movie of the franchise so far - this one I saw 5 times
in the theater in my teens and eventually broke the VHS tape from watching
it so much. bought the DVD, now have it on AppleTV and iPod.

Terminator 3 - bad, bad movie. If not for the intense 15-or-so minute
action action-chase sequence in the middle, would have been a complete bomb.
terrible choice of casting too. that guy who played jon connor was a
douche.

Rise of the Machines - as much as I hate Bale, I will go see this in the
theater, probably more than once. has big screen written all over it. this
is saying a lot for me, I hate the movie theater these days and avoid it
like the plague. I'm hoping to not be disappointed, and if the trailers so
far are like the movie, I will not.
