This weekend, I swapped out the hard drive of my mbp. Went from a 320g to 500g. It went like this:
1.) Do one last Time Machine backup ~ 5 minutes 2.) Crack the case and replace the hard drive ~ 20 minutes 3.) Install Snow Leopard ~ 45 minutes 4.) Hook up the Time Machine drive when asked and let it restore. ~ 1 hour 5.) Pick up right where you left off before you shut your machine down. Apple really got it right with Time Machine. I didn't have to reinstall any application, set any settings back or do any kind of configuration. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
