Maybe I didn't layer on the sarcasm enough. I guess that the quote from Darfur didn't do it well enough. Sorry. Bottom line is that this 'investigator' feels that housing is a civil right. But then again, she's from Brazil where there is no homeless who need housing. Yes, that was sarcasm again. I've got to remember to add the sarcasm tag to posts of this sort.
I'm waiting for her to investigate Martha's Vinyard for not providing adequate, inexpensive public housing. As an aside, that was just the first link I found on the issue (from another site). A fast search shows a lot more people talking about it. People who are less extreme in their political views. My bottom line is that this is bullshit in comparison to the real human rights abuses going on in the world. Abuses ignored by the council because it does not fit their agenda. -- Michael On Sun, Oct 25, 2009 at 7:50 PM, Maureen <[email protected]> wrote: > > Who made this statement? > > On Sun, Oct 25, 2009 at 4:43 PM, Michael Dinowitz > <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> There is nothing more important than civil rights and the most >> important civil right is that of affordable housing in urban areas. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
