Went and saw the eye doctor yesterday. Got my prescription and picked up my glasses an hour later.
My goodness, what a difference. It is absolutely incredible. Sitting in front of my computer screen the first time was breathtaking. And my tv. Holy crap. I have a 50" Kuro, a very nice set. But now... I just realized I have never truly seen hi def. The blu-rays without glasses look like sd with glasses. Haven't watched a blu-ray yet but can't wait. I had been bugging my girlfriend that I needed to upgrade to a 60" or 65" tv. Now, I don't see the need. Incredible. Had glasses for a week in the fifth grade but HATED them and stopped wearing them. 33 now and so much has changed. The frames available are fantastic. I mean, they look GOOD.
