The laws are constitution because of a clause in the constitution that allows the government to create laws that are necessary and proper that may not be enumerated in the constitution and not otherwise limited by other restrictions. Did you also know that it wasn't until WW 1 that the federal gov't even had the ability to levy income taxes against individuals? I still say that if we did a true constitutional review.
