According to the law, he is under the jurisdiction of the US, which,
according to the constitution, gives him the rights and makes him subject to
the laws of the US...hence the reason he was arrested by US cops and put in
a civilian jail and read his rights.

Whether you consider an American aircraft American soil has nothing to
with the case. He was not a citizen and he was attacking America. No
Miranda rights unless the government wants to give it to him. In this
case they might have granted them too soon.
