It's a short-term type of "fsking great" tho.

And when that short-term is up, you be hosed.  You're locked in.

I'm sure lots of people are happy being captive, and plenty don't even
know that they are.

But they are.

And in the end, the same thing that happened before will happen again.
 Freedom and openness will win.

I say this based on philosophy and logic.  "Free + at risk" just
destroys "captive + imagined safety".

Sure, that homogeneous system seems swell, but the trouble is, the
whole deal can come crashing down pretty easy when it's all "one".

Eh.  You can't stop life.  Even on the homogeneous systems, folks
"break out", so to speak, so we'll be fine no matter what.

But philosophically, I'm pretty against what Apple is once again
sliding into being.
