I'd want to see a doctor's testimony on that. It takes a hell of a lot
of heat to cause third degree burns.

I used to think that, but read up on the case....McDonalds was
negligent.
They served her not a hot liquid, but a SCALDING liquid. Spilled hot
coffee
should cause no more than superficial burns...not 2nd or even 3rd
degree.
