Damn straight. Looks like he is doing a great job in a horrid situation that the Democrats inherited from the Republicans to me. It baffles me how detractors expect to turn around or ignore the effects of 8 years of someone's bad policies in a year or two especially in this financial meltdown.
It also confuses me that the GOP consistently delay, attack and criticise every single Obama policy and then complain that the Government isn't doing enough, is moving too slowly, or doesn't have a clue. However, they themselves aren't putting forward any workable solutions. Before someone says Obama is out of touch with people, ask one of the 50 million who might now have Healthcare that did not before. In my view, the republican party is full of dangerous extremists, and this is their new power base. The Tea Party is a major part of the Republican Party and that entire movement is dangerous.
