There are lots of places with immigration problems. I'm pretty sad
it's so hard for legitimate people to get into our country now.

That is thanks to the Previous Administration, mind you. An
administration that capitalized on the Fear of Terrorists.

Contrast that with the whole "hope and change" capitalism. Maybe
they're both Evil, but I prefer HOPE (or DEFCON of course, now).

The really scary stuff went down with the last Administration. This
one is just not wanting to give the power back.

Which is *exactly* what I said would happen, while certain other
people on this list were assuring me it was for all for the Greater
Good, and not to worry about folks abusing power, because they were
already in power before, and what harm would less checks on that power
do, /really/.

When "privacy" is explicitly a part of the Tea Party Platform, I'll
feel slightly better about 'em.

At least it's supposedly pretty important to the Democrats (if lip
service is better than no service, which I'm not convinced of).

Eh. Really, I'm just along for the ride. I'll probably have fun no
matter where we're headed. Bitching at times if for nothing else than
fun and perhaps to fit in. =)p

Life is... Too $hort.
