The link Judah posted made it look like chaff, yet you've been saying
it's wheat.

Do you feel that it's truthful? Or do you like it because it explains
a viewpoint?

This book seems enlightening as to the "consciousness" of the
movement, but for real politics, I generally just watch New Mexico in
Focus, Washington Week and News Hour type stuff.

What we talk about here -- the kinds of stuff -- is mostly
entertainment... tho a lot of folks probably don't feel entertained by
what passes for politics. =)

I know this is Jesse Jackson saying this, but it's an example of how
people try to leverage emotion for nefarious ends (tho of course the
people doing it don't think it's nefarious).

"Without a pang of conscience"?!? Who could be inhuman enough to
think that there is a large number of humans who don't have a
conscious? I got news for you bub (Jesse): I'm pretty sure almost
all of us hear that little talking cricket.

Jiminy!

Woohoo for legislated morality. ;)
