Cameron would have to pay extra for the HD encoders. There are lots of Open Source ones for Debian. ;) Not so for OS X. Which strikes me as sorta funky, ja know? Mac "the image machine", doesn't ship with a decent photo import, nor HD capabilities?!? Stock Ubuntu smokes a stock OS X. I had to use my Ubuntu VirtualBox image to do photo imports and whatnot. Out of the box, OS X is next to useless for digital editing! *Windows* ships with better tools. What gives? (psyche) Ha!
