Perhaps, but if we don't allow the same freedoms for all even those
real obnoxious asshats like Phelps, what is the next exception. That's
why the Nazi party was allowed to march through parts of Skokie
Illinois, the KKK through majority black districts and communist
groups through majority eastern European districts.

If we do not defend the rights of those asshats, we cannot justify
defending the rights of  those we agree with. There are no exceptions.
Either everyone has those rights or none of us do.
