Hmm..I read it as not endorsing the tire slashing, but endorsing the townspeople's refusal to help out the Westboro folks replace their tires. Perhaps I was just reading what I wanted to. I would not condone slashing their tires but I sure as hell wouldn't go tow their car for them either.
