This law is based on one that was passed in Ohio that had held up to a first
round of legal scrutiny. However, the Ohio law has been appealed and is in
review, and just as all the others, will most likely eventually be tossed
out as unconstitutional.

I've stated ad nauseum that I think we should stop writing these silly laws.
They are not constitutional, and they keep these assholes in the spotlight
and give them repeated legal victories that I'd rather not grant them.

HOWEVER, i'm torn a bit in this case...because it seems to me that the
motivation is NOT because they think they can craft a law that will hold up,
it's simply to buy some time so that, at least while THIS funeral is
underway, their protesting will be against the law.  Not a bad idea.
