As I said before, I had not heard any of those comments from her
before this weekend..maybe I _do_ live in a cave.

I think it was stupid of her to say them, and I do not condone what
she said. Again, my argument was that everyone jumped on the 'its
Palin's fault' bandwagon as soon as the shooting happened, and some
are still there, when there was no proof anything she said had any
influence on this guy.

I despise her. I think she is an ignorant, intolerant twat, but I
don't think she should be bearing _any_ of the responsibility for what
happened - at least not until someone can make a connection between
what she said and the shooter (and from what I am reading, it seems
that is becoming less and less likely - but, you never know).

Sadly, even if no connection is ever made, there are a lot people who
will never admit that they jumped the gun in blaming her or the Tea
Party for the shooting.
