I like to see how that would go over...imagine if Robert went into work and
at the end of the pay period, he didn't get paid...after all the company had
to cut their budget, so they cut his wages out so they could do so...

Bush was told by Greenspan and Paul O'Neil early in his term that this would
happen if Social Security wasn't fixed.  He elected instead to give massive
tax rebates to increase his popularly, then after 9/11 to start wars we
couldn't afford.  End the wars, reduce the tax cuts and
repay the Social Security fund, and this problem goes away.   I
suspect, however, that you would not agree with those solutions.  You want
to stop paying Social Security to the elderly, in spite of the fact they
they paid into it and are promised the benefits.
