The term was changed a number of years ago but global warming has set
into the lexicon of popular culture and media. It also isn't exactly
incorrect, the average global temperature is rising, but anthropogenic
climate change is a much better description. Unfortunately, it is also
a term that is both harder to say and has more complexity behind it,
so people don't use it as much.
