There's a long form and a short form. The short form just says you were born.
The long form has details like the hospital, the doctor ect.
I just came back from the post Office to renew my daughters passport
and we had two documents. One was from the hospital and was called the
birth Certificate and had time place doctor ect. The other was from
the state and was called the Certificate of Live Birth.
Mine is an official copy of a New York State Birth Certificate I had
to go to the hospital to get.

I think i read starting ten years ago Hawaii only uses the live birth
certificate but you can still get the long or short form. It's not all
that interesting but when they're called nuts I kind of assume they
aren't all crazy and look into it some.

Without Obama's permission they can't release a copy of the long form,
or let anyone see it, and the hospitals cannot confirm nor deny he was
born there.Yet the hospital Obama said he was born in denied it and
later back tracked when they found out it was illegal to do so.
