I love many things about this country.  Often I am not happy with the
actions of those in government, however.  I am almost certain that was
Michelle Obama meant when she made the statement.

Too many times people in a jingoist fervor will use the quote "My
country, right or wrong." without remembering the entirety of the
quote:

“My country, right or wrong; if right, to be kept right; and if wrong,
to be set right.”

Criticism of government is not just our right, it's our duty.
