For my purposes, I want to sync my laptops with a cloud service. Therefore
security and syncing is very important, something I *thought* I got with
Dropbox, as many others did, and what made it superb. I turn it on (I don't
have it on when I am working) and let it do it's thing once a day. The
iPhone app saved my cowhide more than once.

I love the fact I can share a single folder with hubby, and drop whatever we
need across computers into that folder.

For sharing public files, I use Rackspace. I wish their interface allowed
FTP'ing or they had a stand alone drag and drop client, but otherwise, I
love Rackspace.

It's all ease of use. If you have to jump through hoops to satisfy this sort
of system, you end up not doing it. I might as well go back to CD's and
external TB drives, and what a pain in the ass. Especially if the house
burns down, or you're 3000 miles away from your files. <sigh>

We can put people on the moon and back and we can't figure out a secure file
storage system? Blah.
