So really, in this little game of tax chess, Amazon's actions are
going to result in fewer California companies and more companies in
other states.  I'm not sure if that hurts California or not.

Still though.  even with a company located in another state, if that
person LIVES in Cali, they are likely to still be taxed as a foreign
corporation doing business in the state of California, if they are
truthful in their reporting.
