For me I have always wanted an iPhone, I just did not want to have to go
back to AT&T because of their crappy customer service and high prices.
Since Sprint did not have an iPhone I went with the HTC Evo which to me is
a great phone other than the crappy battery life. Downloading and
installing the advanced app killer helped with this, but I still had to
make sure my phone was plugged into my charger when driving, or bring a
charger to work with me. And the fact that I had to install anti virus on a
phone was strange to me, but whatever. I have seen friends with iPhones at
work who had no problem with battery life, and have never had any issues
with viruses either. So I will gladly give the iPhone a try (I'll hold onto
my EVO until I am 100% sure I am ready for the switch).
In any event, I am pretty stoked to come home in Feb and get one and try it
out, even if it is only a couple weeks before I come back to this shit hole
country. Oh, and the fact that I don't have to carry a phone and an iPod is
a plus too.
