Not sure about that, but I heard from a friend of mine in the Canadian Armed Forces that during the Libyan conflict NATO was fitting JDAMS systems onto concrete practice bombs when attacking many targets in urban areas. The bombs hit with enough force to destroy a tank using kinetic kills, but with very little or no collateral damage. Just an update on throwing rocks.
