There is very little differentiation between pop and rock in industry terms. For pete's sake, Robert Plant is nominated for Best Rock Vocal Grammy for a cut from Band of Joy, which was a nominee for best Americana album. Why? Because everyone knows Robert Plant is rock musician. Except when he's not.
