University Professor: 2+2=4 Democrat: 2+2=4, that is what science says. We believe in science. Republican: I believe 2+2=6, because that is what God told me in a dream. Fox News: 2+2=6. If you don't believe this, you are a socialist-communist-Marxist. And don't listen to that godless socialist professor! Other US Cable News channels: There is a genuine difference of opinon. To be fair to both sides, we will split the difference and call 2+2=5. New York Times / Washington Post / NPR: 2+2=4. Jon Huntsman: 2+2=4. I believe in science, call me crazy. Mitt Romney: 2+2=? I think I might have said 4 before, but now I don't know. What should I say to get people to vote for me? National Rifles Association: 2+2=? My party says 6, equal to the number of rounds in a revolver.
