when we first moved to Paris from Ottawa the Canadiens were on a winning streak. My dad wrote a rather amusing feature about watching me see the French excuse for an Olympic hockey team on TV for the first time. Apparently, after the goalie fell on his ass all by himself, due to sheer inability to skate. After a long silent stare at the screen I was like, welp, I guess I should do my math homework.....
