Plus, they did a preemptive raid, claiming that the people arrested had incendiary devices. The "incendiary devices"...welll it was a beer making kit. Occupy Chicago documented it early on and posted the pics of what was confiscated (unfortunately, I only know of a FB page, and FB doesn't seem to like this list for some reason. I did see the pics and as someone who has done home brewing...it was a beer making kit. They were also claiming they confiscated swords and shuriken... These guys were well known in the protest community from what I have been reading and not the violent types (aka they were not black bloc). "Coincidentally", 4 days earlier, these guys were pulled over by cops and threatened and harassed. Here is the video...
