Still, abuse and spraying a wasp nest are two different things.  You
have to look at persons intentions.

The data is fairly clear on that. In one of the issues of the Journal of
Abnormal Psychology last year, there was one study that looked at that
factor. Animal abuse as a child (around 8 to 12 year of age) or as a
teenager was one of the strongest predictors of future violence and
criminality.
