This is compared to 65% of college athletes. These are federal government numbers, which do not count transfers. By the NCAA numbers, which do include transfers, over 80% of student athletes graduate. "Only" 69% of college football players graduate. Unfortunately, the NCAA does not track general student trends so there is no comparison of the 69% to the general rate.
