"Yeah, my company just mailed out their new "plans" for hte upcoming year.....might as well not even have insurance. The companies are using Obama care as an excuse to pass additional costs onto their employees. Ask them about it, and they just shrug 'hey, Obama made us do it.'
Bullshit." Is it? How do you know? I am not trying to defend the company or denigrate it. I am truly curious if it is bullshit. Some companies will surely save money at the expense of their employees if the opportunity arises. Others have more integrity and only change if they have to. Anyway, read the following. The One predicted the death of traditional insurance. A slow death: 03-24-2007: My commitment is to make sure that we've got universal healthcare for all Americans by the end of my first term as president. I would hope that we could set up a system that allows those who can't go through their employer to access a federal system or a state pool of some sort. But I don't think we're going to be able to eliminate employer coverage immediately. There's going to be potentially some transition process. I can envision a decade out, or 15 years out, or 20 years out. - Barack Obama J - Both of us want to provide health care to all Americans. Theres a slight difference, and her plan is a good one. But, she mandates that everybody buy health care. Shed have the government force every individual to buy insurance and I dont have such a mandate because I dont think the problem is that people dont want health insurance, its that they cant afford it. So, I focus more on lowering costs. This is a modest difference. But, its one that shes tried to elevate, arguing that because I dont force people to buy health care that Im not insuring everybody. Well, if things were that easy, I could mandate everybody to buy a house, and that would solve the problem of homelessness. It doesnt. - Ba ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:356148 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
