Many years ago I started making a conscious effort not to use that word, for all the reasons stated in that awesome letter.
It was very hard for me...growing up as an elementary student in the 80's and a high school kid in the 90's, the R word was one we used every day, multiple times a day. It was as common as any other word on school playgrounds. Even today, I still have to catch myself....."Man, that's ret.....stupid....". I still slip every now and then. But at least i've changed. Not surprising that Coultier hasn't. That was an AWESOME letter. On Wed, Oct 24, 2012 at 9:47 AM, Larry C.
