I agree with that to an extent...but I also think that a Romney White house, which would also really enable the extreme right wingers...like the idiots in the news lately for their views on rape...would be a lot worse. Do we really want a president that doesn't know that Syria and Iran don't share a border, let alone be Iran's access to the sea? Imagine the fuck ups that would occur there as CinC when he doesn't even grasp basic geography. I am sure Obama has lied about stuff, but every single thing that I have seen from Romney has been a lie or and out of context misleading statement. That's not even getting into he flip flops. He does that so much that he makes Kerry look like a rock solid statue. I have to wonder how much of some of the right wing stuff is Obama trying to pander to the right to try and get them to cooperate. This is the first time in a very long time that Democrats appear strong on defense than the military than republicans. Romney seems all too willing to try and wipe any gains in women's rights, gay rights, the environment, health care reform, etc. to pander the extreme right. He endorsed the idiot from Indiana that stated that if a woman gets pregnant after being raped...it was a gift from god. That endorsement came AFTER this guy said this. Maybe this time around, dems will take back the house and get a big enough lead in the senate to be able to break filibusters and then we will see how much they can get done.
