Pre-election or at an uncomfortable spot in the second term, sure. But now? Doesn't make any sense. Benghazi was going to get buried under the upcoming "fiscal cliff" nonsense anyway. Republicans will have their time to go after Obama again (and they will, no doubt) but this timing doesn't make sense for either party.
