I think she was just a crappy writer.  I thought the same of some sci-fi
greats.  I can't stand Arthur C. Clarke's writing style.  I tried reading
Childhood's End several times and couldn't make it past the first couple of
pages.

Yeah well...there's a difference between espousing crappy ideas, and being a
crappy writer.

Curious if people can separate the two. I had a flaming liberal girlfriend
back in college...and she LOVED Atlas Shrugged. So i dunno.
