Ummmm... Arizona has an 800 million dollar budget surplus.  We're in the
black when most of the country is in the red.  And we're quite busy trying
to woo gun manufacturers from the east coast out to Arizona.  No sense them
staying in a state that doesn't want their products (unless they are for the
good of government of course...)

As for the legislation, our students come out of our high schools with less
knowledge about the constitution and the government of the United States
than I care to talk about.  I don't necessarily support the oath as it
stands, but I wouldn't mind it if they removed the god part.  

And I don't find it any wackier than the Missouri democrat legislator that
thought it would be a good idea to make it mandatory for parents to have to
notify the school if they own a gun.  None of their damn business...
