I'd be curious to know how many gun owners actually carry them around most of the time where they would be useful in a defense situation? My guess is that as a percentage among gun owners, it's a lot higher among men than women. I'd also bet that women are more likely to lock their guns and ammo away at home than men are. If 23 out of every 100 own a gun, I'd guess only a few of those actually keep them accessible where they'd be useful to defend themselves. I could be wrong, but the "gun to defend myself" argument falls pretty flat in practice in my experience. Mace or pepperspray on the other hand, is effective, accessible, non-lethal and very readily available if my female friends who carry it are any indication of the norm. -Justin ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:362104 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
