Microsoft can really go f* themselves with the Kinect. I understand from an article today that the entire console will be region locked, and retailers are warning customers who pre-order. So if you don't live in one of the 21 countries that Microsoft is supporting artrelease, you will in effect be buying a very expensive brick.
Microsoft isn't being clear with customers about this. In one response, they tried to say that it's up to the Publishers, in another they said it would only be supported in certain areas, then in another they said the console would work anywhere but functionality depends on location. I cannot believe these motherf* s would change the Xbox into Hulu. That's basically what it is going to be. Locked down like Hulu or HBO Go. It really is a very expensive media machine, and not a console anymore. Very disappointed.
