Lack of understanding. Lack of depth of compassion. Ignorance about freedom. Inability to recognize that "separate but equal" is NOT acceptable.
Basically immaturity in thought. I know, because I used to be there...and i'm not a hater, and I'm certainly not a believer. People can learn. This country has learned. We've come a long way on gay rights in just the last few decades. Labelling people haters and zealots and saying "that's it" doesn't do anyone any good.....and it's wrong.
