There are USB to Ethernet adapters, which is the opposite of what you'd want, but I think that there are USB male to female adapters that might be able to invert it. That would allow you to hook the usb on the modem to a usb to ethernet adapter. Then you could use a cross over ethernet cable to provide the input to a router.
