The issue is that being gay or straight is inherent, as much as skin
or eye colour is. So you in effect are condemning those based on
factors beyond their control. Very Christian of you. At best your
religion requires the person who is "oriented" the incorrect way to
either live a lie (and be damned for that) or be damned for following
his nature. In other words life long celibacy or be damned for
eternity. The person is damned for factors entirely beyond his or her
control.
