Amen to that. The past 2 years have really sucked for me and the past 10 have been pretty rough financially...I finally got a permanent gig that I started 1 December (no more contract work YAY!!!!), so things are turning around finally. I will have that financial stability that I need and actually get some of those mythical benefits I hear so much about.
