Same thing happened to me. Three of us at the table and the things wouldn't go away. First the meercat, then the baboon, then something else. It took all my will to not stick a fork in it.
The real pisser was that it was pretty much the only open resturaunt in the hotel. The only other option was the '50s style soda shop with obnoxious music and children.
