Scams are what they're best known for. And it's apparently part of her
defense. She claims that as an Irish Traveler she's a persecuted minority
and was under extreme stress because of that when she was at the store.

I find it curious that the media doesn't seem to be paying much attention to
the Irish Traveler angle. Perhaps they just see it as too much work to
educate people on what an Irish Traveler is.
